Yesterday Was Dr. Day
Whew! What a day yesterday was. I had a follow up with my allergist and my mother-in-law had an appointment with a new neurosurgeon due to back issues. We left at 7:45 am and didn't get back home until about 4:00 pm.
My allergist appt. went well. All of the blood tests came back negative so far which means my food allergies are not as bad as they could be:) My asthma is a bit out of control and we are currently working on getting that completely under control. Once that is under control completely I will have to go through more skin testing. This is going to be a bit of a slow process but I am confident it will be worth it in the end.
My mother-in-law's appointment went well also. The doctors want to exhaust all non-surgical procedures before they even contemplate surgery. We like their approach very much. She has to do an MRI and then another consulation with another doctor. Then it looks like she will start with some injections. Hopefully, these will give her some relief.

Looking Forward To A Nice Weekend!
This weekend is suppose to be in the 70's & sunny! It is about time....I just hope it sticks around now :) That being said, we will probably be working on paperwork in the office:( Oh well at least we have a lot of windows in the office:P
I found a local wireless internet provider for the laptop.....woohoo! I was able to get the aircard loaded & the internet up & running. Let me assure you that is great because I am not a techy by any means....lol.
We may be getting a very nice big new garage at the house:) If we do my hubby won't have to mow near as much yard....lol. The estimates should start coming in next week & then we will make the decision from there.
I hope everyone has a great weekend! Enjoy the weather!

It Has Been A Bit Hectic Lately
It seems like I haven't wrote for more than a week. It has been a hectic weekend/week. Last week my schedule kept me up quite late on 4 of the 7 nights. As I get older I can tell that is harder for me to handle. So far this week 2 nights out of 3 I have went to bed much later than I should as well. Today I am tired. We picked up our new king size bed Sunday. I love it and so do the boys. Hopefully tonight I can turn in earlier than usual & get caught back up on my sleep.
I would like to take a moment to remember everyone involved with the Virginia Tech tragedy. My condolences to the ones who have lost family members. My prayers to the people who's lives have been personally touched by this unimaginable tragedy. May God Be With Each And Every One Of You!

2 ER Visits in 4 Days
Easter evening I got a call from my MIL. She needed to be taken to the ER. She wasn't feeling well & hadn't been for a couple of weeks. I think we got home around 1 am. I took her to her family dr. for an already scheduled appt. then on Tuesday.
Then last night I get a call from my mom. My mom has some health issues already. As I rush to her I am on the phone & determine that an ambulance should meet me at her place. She definitely needed checked by a doctor. The ambulance went into the wrong apt. complex and as I am trying to flag them down I go into an asthma attack. My rescue inhaler didn't seem to do to much rescuing. Anyways, she was taken to the ER & was discharged around 12:30 am. I stayed with her for a bit to make sure that she was feeling alright. I got home around 2 am. I sure hope this is the last of the ER visits for awhile.

Happy Easter!
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter Sunday! Christina, my stepdaughter, & Kris, my son-in-law, came by for lunch. We had a nice visit and we enjoyed our lunch together. Thank you two for your wonderful visit. Unfortunately, my mother-in-law is feeling a bit under the weather and couldn't join us. I must say I was very proud of the boys. They begged a little bit but not much at all. They really done fabulous. They had a bit of a special lunch too. They had sweet potato and enjoyed every bite.
