Whew!! What a Weekend!

Friday started off on a rough note. Poor little Reesie ended up being sick all day Friday & into Saturday. Thank goodness by the time we got to the lake he was feeling much better.

We got the pontoon put in Saturday & went for our first boat ride of the season Sunday! WooHoo!!!!! This was Reesie & Mack's first boat ride & they done great! Mack isn't even fearful of the pier (which makes me a bit concerned). They both seemed to enjoy it. Well actually Reesie enjoyed it as much as Odie & Hershey does. Mack will enjoy it more when he can look over the seats too....lol. He did ride well though. Here are a few pictures of the boys enjoying their ride before we got rained out.

All the boys enjoying their ride. (Mack IS between Hershey & Reesie)

Mack telling us how much fun he is having....lol.

The boys watching the geese.

Mack taking a relaxing nap.

Update on Things

It has been a busy week. My mother-in-law was in the hospital and was released on Tuesday. She is feeling much better. Mack is such a love bug. He is fitting in well especially with Reesie. Reesie has taken him under his wing & is being an excellent big brother. Odie & Hershey are doing ok with him but they act a bit apprehensive with him. I think it is because he is so small. He is such a cuddler & is becoming a momma's boy quickly.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY HERSHEY!!!!!!

Our Baby Hershey is 2 years old today! It just doesn't seem possible. Time flies & they grow up so fast! We will be helping him celebrate with a birthday party this evening. His cousins will be coming over & joining in the fun. He get a day of special treatment & a special meal. Our little Hershey is such a cutie & so laid back. It takes a lot to ruffle his feathers....which Reesie can do once in a while....lol. He has turned into such a little cuddle bug over the time we have had him. For his party tonight I will be making one of his favorite people foods, pumpkin muffins. I am sure he will enjoy his day.....I will make sure of that. He sure has grown in the time we have had him. The day we brought him home he could only rest his head on a 4" step. He was sooooo little. Now he has grown to be a beautiful boy. Of course he will always be our Baby Hershey though.

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

Gee I can't believe it has been a week since I last posted. This last week kept me pretty busy with errands & trying to get caught up in the office. Today is going to be a lazy day (other than doing laundry). This coming week has me busy most of the days out of the office. So I will take today to rest up for them.

We were going to start putting the boats in the lake this weekend, but the weather has just not cooperated. It rained yesterday & it is extremely windy today. Next Saturday they won't get put in either as I have a bridal shower to attend for my beautiful niece! Maybe we can get at least the pontoon put in & go for a spin on Mother's Day! I am looking forward to going for a pontoon ride & I know hubby & the boys are as well. I am anxious to see how Reesie handles his first boat ride. I am sure he will be apprehensive but I know the other two will show him the ropes in no time.
