Things Are Settling Down

This has been a hectic week. I went out of town two days in a row. Sometimes that is more tiring than working at home. Now I am playing catch up at home. The next week I have an appointment most days but at least they are all in town and most shouldn't take too long. The weather has turned cold again. I am so ready for spring and the warmer weather to stay! Hopefully the weather will go back to the 70's soon.

Hershey's New Shots

Hershey started on his new allergy shot today. I am sure they will help as well as the ones he started on about a year ago. Taking out the foods that he is allergic to has already helped so much. He has a twinkle back in his eyes & is much more energetic & playful. I am thankful that they have the allergy tests & shots available to the pups too. That makes their health so much easier to manage. He can enjoy the outdoors much more as his tolerance builds against the grasses, trees, weeds, & molds which he encounters outside that he is allergic to.

What A Day!

This has been a very long day. I had to go to a new allergist today. My current is retiring. I was very apprehensive as many of the things this allergist does is quite different from my old allergist. I must say after meeting the doctor I was impressed with him from the get go. He is very knowledgeable & treated me with respect. He also acknowledged my knowledge of allergies & in no way was he condescending. I must say I wasn't thrilled with having 64 sticks stuck in my back though. I think we are on the right track here. I still have some apprehension but I am going to give this new doctor a try. We are going to have to go slow because of reactions but I think I am most comfortable doing that anyway.

How Can Something That Hurts That Bad Make You Feel Good

I went shopping with my niece today. While we were at the mall we saw people giving acupressure massages. My neck & shoulders have really been bothering me so we decided to treat ourselves. Oh My! When the guy first touched my shoulders it hurt so very bad! I was really tensed more so than I thought. Most of the massage process really hurt. I guess that was the tension getting worked out. I must say though that after the massage was over I was relaxed & much of the tension had left.

Not Very Happy With A Large Retailer

Normally I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for. Back in the middle of December our TV went out in our bedroom. Amongst the hustle & bustle of the Christmas season, I had a lax in judgement & purchased a 32" LCD TV from a large discount retailer. Three & 1/2 months later that TV is already being replaced. The retailer has a firm 90 day warranty policy & the manufacturer (who I have never heard of) cannot be reached it seems in any venue. I have now found many comments about this TV & none of them are good. I have learned my lesson & paid the price. I must say this lesson stings a bit. I hate to overpay on anything & then to basically throw away the first $700.00 does not make my day.

Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things

Well now that the weather is turning nice, I am getting out more. I actually went to work out yesterday for the first time in ions. I have to say that I do feel better after exercising. I hope to start going back to the YMCA 3 times a week.

The boys probably were not very happy with me yesterday. I ended up being gone most of the day & evening yesterday. The boys may not have been too upset. Their Grammy came over & babysit & played with them in the evening.

I found some great deals at a Hobby Lobby yesterday. I love their 50% off sales!
